Older Adult Programs

 The Buda Police Foundation plans to work with the City of Buda Task Force on Aging to develop programs to ensure that the city’s seniors are safe.

This program provides contact for those residents who may not have family members or resources available to meet daily needs. Upon request and with the resident’s approval a COYN volunteer will establish a schedule to call or visit the participant. Through special training, the COYN volunteer can assess the needs of the participant and relay any concerns to the Buda Police Department, and a police officer will be sent to check on their welfare.
