The Buda Police Foundation wants to provide Buda police officers with the best equipment and latest technology in order to keep our city safe. The Foundation solicits input from the police department for ideas and equipment requests that can change how the entire department responds within the community. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was formed by local volunteers of the Buda Community. Our board members are not paid employees and the donations we receive are used to support and assist those who serve our community.
The Buda Police Foundation strives to promote and reinforce public safety efforts by strengthening partnerships between the community and the Buda Police Department in order to enhance and maintain the quality of life in the City of Buda. Our goal is to share knowledge and information about law enforcement practices and strategies that encourage community support, involvement, and to help ensure the effective delivery of police services. We are a nonprofit tax exempt company organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
